What we collect, and why
When you ask for a quote
The form on this site asks for your name and email address. It also lets you add the quantity you need, your business or event name, a phone number, the size, quality and printing method you are after, a message, and a file with your logo. All of it reaches us by email; none of it is stored in a database on this website.
Along with what you type, the message records your IP address and the time you sent it. We use that only to tell real enquiries from automated spam. We also keep a scrambled version of your IP address on the server, purely to stop the same address flooding the form; it stops counting after one hour and the file is removed the next time anyone uses the form.
Why we are allowed to: preparing a quote you have asked for is a step you take before entering into a contract with us (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). The anti-spam part rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the form usable (Article 6(1)(f)).
When you email, call or message us on WhatsApp
We keep the conversation so we can answer you and, if you order, deliver the job. The WhatsApp button on this site opens WhatsApp itself: from that point the conversation is also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.
When you browse this site
We use Google Analytics 4. Only if you accept it in the banner does it set cookies and measure your visit individually; if you decline, no analytics cookies are written, only anonymous cookieless signals reach Google (its consent mode), and nothing on the site stops working. Google does not receive your full IP address.
Our web server also keeps standard access logs, as every web server does.
Why we are allowed to: analytics runs on your consent (Article 6(1)(a), and regulation 6 of PECR). You can withdraw it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
Cookies and similar storage
| What | What it is for | How long |
|---|---|---|
pn-consent (local storage) |
Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we stop asking. | Until you clear your browser data |
_ga, _ga_* (cookies) |
Google Analytics. Only written if you accept. | Up to 2 years |
Nothing else is stored on your device. There is no advertising, no remarketing and no tracking across other websites.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become orders: 12 months from your last message to us. After that we delete them.
- Orders: 6 years, because Spanish accounting law requires us to keep the paperwork for a completed sale that long.
- Analytics: 14 months, which is what our Google Analytics property is set to.
- Anti-spam records: the scrambled IP address stops being used after one hour and is deleted the next time the form is used.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing. It is handled on our behalf by:
- our hosting provider, which runs this website and our email;
- Google, for analytics, if you accepted it;
- the carrier, if you place an order and we have to deliver it.
We will also disclose data if the law requires it.
Where your data is
This website and our email are hosted in Spain, inside the European Economic Area. The United Kingdom recognises the EEA as providing an adequate level of protection, so your data does not lose its safeguards by being there.
Google Analytics may involve transfers outside the UK and the EEA. Google covers those with the standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it;
- restrict what we do with it, or object to it;
- hand it over in a portable format;
- stop analytics, by declining or clearing the banner's choice.
Write to info@tuservilleta.com and we will answer within one month. It costs you nothing.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or call their helpline on 0303 123 1113.
Children
This site sells to businesses and to adults organising events. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and change the date at the top. The date tells you which version you are reading.
